A young filmmaker discovers a vintage movie camera and a roll of 16mm film in his late father's trunk and embarks on a journey across France to find its original owner and answers to his family's hidden secrets. A love letter to the movies in the vein of Cinema Paradiso and The Fabelmans.

David Strathairn is an American-born actor best known for his Academy Award™ and Golden Globe nominated performance as Edward R. Murrow in George Clooney's Good Night, And Good Luck, for which he received the coveted Volpi Cup at the 2005 Venice Film Festival. Other feature film credits include The Bourne Ultimatum, L.A. Confidential, The River Wild, Matewan, Lincoln, We Are Marshall, A League of Their Own, Silkwood, Eight Men Out, Bob Roberts, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Dolores Claiborne, City of Hope, Heavens Fall, No God, No Master, The Brother From Another Planet, A Map of the World, The Sensation of Sight, and Return of the Secaucus Seven. He is the recipient of a Primetime Emmy Award for his work in HBO's Temple Grandin and starred as Dr. Lee Rosen in the Syfy Channel's hit television series Alphas. On stage, Mr. Strathairn has performed in numerous productions, including The Heiress, Salome, Dance of Death and The Three Sisters on Broadway, as well as several Off-Broadway productions and at regional theaters across the country. He Is regarded as one of the industry's most respected actors and is known for his extensive work in more than a dozen independent films.
